really i don't understand what they do but there a big part of the production, what exactly do they do?

A producer pays for the movie to get made. She/he is responsible for either incorporating some of their own money or finding investors.

I don't know a whole lot about this, but I think they're hired by the studio to make sure the film is adjusted to make the most money. They're the ones who decide what scene is kept or deleted according to the movie's length, storyline, and tempo.

simple...they produce the movir by putting up the money,watching over stuff
