I fed my baby soya cereal and I just read to avoid soy until she's older. I'm wondering if they are the same thing.

It is dry cereal that you add milk to. My babe is 6 months old and I read to avoid soy milk until a year and soy products.

Yes, soy and soya are the same thing. (Soya is how it is usually referred to in the UK and other Commonwealth nations.) Because it is a potential allergen, soy products shouldn't be introduced (barring milk allergies in formula fed babies) to an infant under one year.

i feed my baby boy on s26 lf it is milk based but has Soy in it too
