Hi! I need a little help. My hub and I have been TTC for 4 months. My last period started 12/6. Neg. test on 1/7 ans 1/11. On Sat. (1/14) I had slight pink bleeding and threw up twice. Took another test and it was neg. Nothing Sunday and then Monday had the pink once. Now today I started having heavy bleeding but only when I go to the restroom. Only slight cramps. My period never acts like this and I always have bad cramps. Is this my period? I think I'm going to the doctor on Thursday. Should I go sooner? Thanks for any advice!

Well, without seeing you no one can provide a diagnosis. However, a positive pregnancy test says a lot. Your body was producing the HCG hormone which is what a women's body produces when pregnant. It's a lot easier to get a false negative vs a false positive. Women's bodies can sometimes be convinced that it is pregnant even when it is not. I do not think that is the case in this situation.

Chances are you just miscarried. First, I should say these are so common. Some medical professionals think over 60-70% of pregnancies abort in the first trimester. Most of the time, the woman doesn't even realize she was pregnant. I would go the the doctor to check be sure everything is gone from your utereus to prevent infection.

It sounds like your having an irregular period. I wouldn't go to the doctor unless it is irregular next month as well. One odd period really isn't a sign that anything is wrong and I'm not sure what the doctor can do. There is a chance that you may have miscarried a 2 week old fetus, but you will never know for sure. I know you're trying to conceive and were hoping you were pregnant. I'd keep trying and maybe the pregnancy test will be positive next month. Good luck!

Yes, this is your period. Sounds like mine. Have you improved your diet and exercise, increased calcium consumption and eat lots of lean protein. That helped me conceive when I thought I was infertile. Best wishes to you and Godspeed. By the way, I think you can wait until Thursday.

That's how my pregnancy started. I had a normal period for about 12 hours, then it just stopped. I knew then. Are you taking the test with your first morning urine? That could be all the difference. God Bless.
