No, it can actually be quite fun. A little advice: Before deciding if you want to list the item, do a search to see if it is selling well - you may learn that it is not worth listing it. Add pictures to your auction - people want to see what they are buying. Consider how much you want to sell it for, whether or not to set a low opening bid or use a reserve price. Determine, at least, an appx. cost for shipping the item and determine which shipping providers you will offer. In most all cases, buyer pays the shipping, so be sure to state that, and be sure to state where you are willing to ship to i.e. USA only, Anywhere, USA and Canada only. If you would like a little more detailed information, send me a message, I will try to help you the best I can. I have been using eBay for several years now and love it!

No. If the item is expensive ($300+), make sure you take many detailed pictures for your auction.

Also be HONEST. If the item is defective, you should mention that in the ad. There's plenty of people who buy defective items on eBay for parts. I sold a 10-year old compact car that got smashed in the back for over $1000 on eBay. I was honest, and got a buyer.

It is so easy and addictive! You would love it!! I started last year just selling things around the house and made a lot of money. I then started going to auctions and reselling. Doubled my money on most things.

Go to ebay and get an account with Paypal. It will walk you through everything. Your first time listing might take you a little bit but after that you will speed right through it and be on to making a heck of a lot of money!

Good Luck!!

Its not to hard to do as long as you check your computer a lot for mail and questions most people wont bet on something until you answer all of there questions. Take good pictures to let them know they aren't getting ripped off on the item and put as much info about the product as you know. So as long as you have the time its not to hard.

to be honest, its one of the hardest things in the world.

I've been practicing nuclear science for about 15 years now, and in my spare time I've worked on a few rocket ships...but this ebay thing has gotten me quite perplexed.

I'd like to figure it out one day as I have a ton of Mickey Mantle cards to sell...ah, who am I kidding, I'm probably just going to throw it out with the rest of my junk.

Not really. If you have a debit card or credit card, just sign up with paypal. Listing an item is relatively easy and they don't take too much money, really. I started recently and have made some good money selling old video games. Wanna buy my gamecube?

Depends on the item. How much are you willing to take for it and is it a hot item?
