I really like www.propser.com. Prosper is a person to person lending site. As a lender you can get in for as little as $50. All the notes are amortized over 36 months and you can earn anywhere from 5% to 29% depending on the amont of risk you are willing to absorb. You can pretty quickly diversify a really nice consumer debt portfolio. I'm in for around $800 at the moment and am making about 3 times what I'm knocking down in a $3,500 CD. It may not be for everybody, but I REALLY dig it.

I will tell you what has worked for me: overtime. If you want to make more it is more time efficient to put in more hours where you already are rather than have to go elsewhere. You may need to find a job where extra hours are available, but they are out there. Two other things that have been good to me are landlording and stock market investing. Both of these pursuits are much more difficult than overtime and have a lower success rate overall. But forget all the "get rich quick" scemes. They are all a wast of time. No one is going to pay you for the non value added activities they advocate.

If you live in a big city you can deliver the newspaper. You will surprise how much money you can make per month. My ex delivered the paper seven days a week and work five days a week full time in a office. Several of the other VIP were do it, but they did not want anybody to know. You work three-four hours per day 3am-6/7am, and you can make $1000-1500 per month.
You must remember seven days per week, rain or shine.

you can get a night job for example moving packages for fedex.
pays pretty well.
you can work retail or sell cars (commission so your income is under your control)
getting a good paying job on the other shift is my best idea.
besides truck driving. now you are choosing what you are interested in and not...before you just needed money.

You can work at a store in the evenings or on the weekends. Or at a hotel at the desk in the evenings.

ok, sell used stuff on eBay. Or better yet, try to get wholesale products (or liquidated products) and sell for profit on eBay.
