Does anyone know where Industrial/Organizational Pyschologist are usually employed at?

Does anyone know where I./O psychs are normally employed?? If so can you give me some name of companies that are KNOWN to hire I/O psych??!! THANKS

Many work at corporations--See your Sunday newspaper's classified ads, or call an employment agency to see what you can find out. You can also call a college job counselor.

See, this would depend on where you live, and what kind of companies are within commuting distance for you. If you are near any type of military base--there may possibly be work for you there. You need to ask around.

I guess you could do a search under "Industrial Psychologist, Employment" or "Employment, Organizational Psychologist" and see what's out there.

Sorry, no known companies. But most of thes jobs are either in the HR/Training departments, the majority of I/O's are consultants who go into big companies, interview workers, and then make recommendations of change to the corporate leaders/HR guru's.

I have a background in organizational psych and have landed managment jobs in the past b/c of it.
