My husband is in the army and currently in Iraq right now and I'm trying to find a good gift for him when he comes home in March. I decided to surprise him by celebrating his birthday early but I'm stuck as to what to get him.

march is his midtour so after the 15 days he'll go back to the desert, and I want to get him something nice and practical.

Hey, the best gift ever is one of music..... For christmas I bought a CD case for $19.99 at Target... It holds 250 CD's then I burned all kinds of Music from 1950- the present... It was his favorite gift ever...

O-kay if you are not talented in the area of making CD's then make him a box of Love.... Remember when you where a child in kindergarden and you had a box at Valentine's... Buy a photo box and decorate the outside with pictures of the two of you... Inside the box buy cards (Lots of them) fill the box with 300 days of cards- you can use poetry off the internet, make coupons for special things and that will allow them to have something to open every day for the entire year----- YEAH it is a lot of work and takes a while but it is a gift that comes from your heart and means so much to the receiver...

If he is going to return again to Iraq after spending his b'day with u then gift him a family photo album. This will help him to miss u less. Or if u have a kid then record it's activities and small chitterings. he will see and enjoy a lot.
Or if he is coming back for ever then take him to a romantic trip only for you and ur sweetheart!
What about a second honeymoon??

provide him some thing which will start up an journey to save in recommendations.. Write a handwritten letter.... telling him why his beginning is particular to you....and how he's touched your existence...after all that quite concerns...For the present save it user-friendly, maximum men are not into presents...1st Birthday cuff hyperlinks are particular I gave my former husband cuff hyperlinks as a wedding ceremony present... they seem a classic...

A massage, full spa treatment, the works! Pamper him like crazy. He deserves it! Cook him the best meal, his favorite foods of course, and give him the best time in the bedroom.
