-----The Communists have always been sneaky and underhanded. They will do *anything* if they think it will advance Communism; they always have. Add "lie, cheat, steal and kill" to the list; they will even kill other Communists if they think it will advance Communism. ---Jim

I am not sure the term Communism fits anymore since of the very few Communist ruled countries left in the world are all experimenting with Capitalism on a limited scale After Castro dies, I am sure even Cuba will become more of an open market kind of country

Of course, from the tone of your question, you are referring to anyone who is not a committed Capitalist, or at least far right wing. My question is why is the far right wing in this country so sneaky & underhanded - as in Bush saying we are spreading democracy to the Middle East, while Washington is daily dictating to the Iraqi & Afghani govts. At the same time, Bush & Co. seem to be doing a very good job in shredding the Constitution of our own country. Now you tell me, where do you suppose there is a lot of lying going on? And why should we trust a govt who is lying to us & the world? The best advice I ever got is to question everything. I try to do just that.

You're ridiculous. I'm registered independent and I see through both parties. Dems and Reps. Stupidity? You mean to tell me the new republican party is really out there for true conservatives, and trying to protect the interests and educate the people of this country. Come on, stop drinking the kool-aid.

How do you think the Marxists, Socialists, and Democrats are cloaking the world in stupidity. Is it George H.W. Bushs' New World Order?

e.g. New Republicans: believe in spending without having the cash to support it, increasing the size of Govt., and free trade.

Nothing conservative about that.

Great shirt, Ben!!

Yes, cloaking the world in stupidity IS their plan. Liberals have taken over our schools and are making us a nation of idiots.

Here are some "educational" policies of the NEA from 2001:
* "Extension of Daylight Savings Time until the first Sunday in November." (Um....what the....?)
* A tax-supported, single-payer health care plan for all residents of the United States, its territories and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico" (Nice idea, but still looking for education...)
* "A mutual, verifiable nuclear freeze with cessation of testing, production, and further deployment of nuclear delivery systems and othehr destabilizing systems." (Again, nice idea...but this is the NEA - again, no mention of teaching your kids anything)
* "Legislation to preserve and expand Native Hawaiian land ownership." (Preserve, okay - expand? Isn't that a tad racist for the NEA? And what, exactly, does this have to do with education?"
* "Federal initiatives to deal iwth the growing national concern relating to stalking." (And again, no mention of that whole pesky education business)

Nice. So while our kids are learning less and less, the NEA is worried about Daylight Savings Time (I just really don't get that one), foreign policy (aren't you glad we elected them to represent us? Oh wait - we didn't) and crime. WHEW! They're so busy, no wonder they don't have time to worry about our kids!!

This is 2007 not 1958; what are you doing channeling Joe McCarthy? Its the Republicans that are selling our debt to communist China and are kissing their a*ses (along with Vietnam) for the sake of opening their markets up to US capital.
