This will prepare you for many different career choices and opportunities -- from the Pharmaceutical end of things to areas such as processing technologies and alternative fuels development.

Go to college aiming to get a degree in chemistry or mathematics or something like that and somewhere through the madness you will figure it out. Been there done that and now I'm majoring in Biology minoring in Chemistry and planning on going to med school after college. Everyone basically changes their mind in college and most high schools don't do justice to what each field deals with they just skim the top so you may get more interested in a subject in college or get totally turned off from another.

I would say the best way to go into college is to be undecided because most colleges have a core curriculum that involves classes everyone has to take in order to graduate. Something in one of those classes might spark an interest in a career. I went in as a History Secondary Education major, and now am an AOD major. Most people end up doing a complete 180 from their freshmen year. Good luck!
