Would you rather get a root canal or watch the whole season of American Idol?

I'd rather watch American Idol. Me and dentists don't get along.

Definitely root canal. Just had one & after a few weeks I'll get the permanent crown & it'll be over. Sure, the initial pain is bad, but it doesn't last nearly as long as the whole season of American Idol. Plus, I've known my dentist for many years & he lets me select the music that's played during the procedure (much better stuff than you'll hear on American Idol).

watch american idol any day, never had a root canal but don't like dentist offices at all, actually even rather go to the gynecologist than go to the dentist especially for a cavity. Not that I enjoy going to the gyneocologist, prefer american idol over that too.

Hey, ya know what? I think everyone should lay of with the paint thing. First of all, you are all using that expression wrong. "Watching paint dry" is used to describe when something is going really slow. American idol did not go slow this season, and I don't think that is what you are trying to express. Secondly, If you are unhappy that David C. won, that's your own fault for not voting for David A. I personally liked David Cook better, but I actually didn't want him to win, cause I didn't want him to be the "American Idol. 'Cuz now, a whole bunch of people will buy his album just for that reason, he's the "American Idol" weather or not they like him truely. People like to follow other people. Most of the world is just a bunch of bandwagon jumpers. So, yeah, I'd rather watch American idol (rather than watch paint dry lmao). That's jst my oppion though...

I have had 2 root canals and they were both more enjoyable than any reality show. At least I could sleep through the root canals.

whole season of idol, i don't care for the show, but anything beats a root canal.

I just like to see the auditions so I can laugh at all the EXTREMELY DELUSIONAL who think they can sing make ABSOLUTE FOOLS of themselves on national tv. After that I dont care about the rest of American Idol. I mean really how many more American Idol seasons are they going to have?
