I was pretty shocked to know that Borat was nominated for a Golden Globe and also that he won a Golden Globe. I figured the movie would've been one of those stupid sexually explicit movies that would be shown and get low reviews from critics and loved my immature adolescents. What do you guys think?

You just didn't get it. Sacha Cohen is a genius. I was shocked too-but for a very different reason-I am impressed that the Globe had the balls to honor his work! To have ignored him would have been the tragedy. People who did not find his movie laugh out loud funny, (in a sad way), just didn't grasp the magnificence of his satire. Like I said, he is a genius and greatly deserved to win!
His acceptance speech was a jewel as well.

Jagshemash! I think you should see it. The critics didn't pan it, and most immature adolescents wouldn't understand some of the humor. It's honestly one of the funniest movies I've seen in some time.
