For me, it's episode 4 & 5 equally, but more 4 than 5. Because 4 was the 1st movie and it inspired generations of fans and it was the 1st of it's kind. And 5 because it was well directed (by Irvin Kershner) and it was when Luke met yoda, became strong with the force and Han Solo getting put into carbon-freeze. All those factors make 4 & 5 best for me.

In order from favorite to least favorite and why would be
Episode 3 Because of General Grievious
Episode 1 Darth Maul is cool
Episode 2 Yoda is awesome at getting Count Dooku
Episode 6 When Darth Vader kills the Sith, that is pretty cool
Episode 4 I like when Darth Vader and Obi wan fight
Episode 5 The only cool thing about this one is when Darth Vader says"Luke I am your father".

I have to say I liked Ep 3 the best. I was at the midnight opening show in my town. The coolest thing ever!! People were grilling out before the show, light saber fights, costumes. Awesome!!
The most memorable part was the rise of Vader. You could have heard a pin drop in the theater waiting to hear that first breath! It just pulled things together and I feel the story line for this episode just kept you guessing - well in a way at least.

I can hardly remember A new hope, cause i was born in 78, but
my first theater movie was Return of the Jedi.
Eventhough my fav is The Empire Strikes Back.
The snow battles, and Darth Vader's presence are the reason of why i prefer this one.

Return of the Jedi...cause it shows Luke's loyalty to his friends, how much of a badass he was (unlike the Jedi portrayed in Ep. 1-3), and it's when Vader true colors come out. It was about family and loyalty!

Empire Strikes Back because of the battle on Hoth and the overly emotional ending.
