Oh puhleeze...! Hastert and a few other cronies knew about Foley long before Foley was outed by ABC News. The only time the Republicans censure their own is when they get caught redhanded. Even then, they try and weasel their way out of it. So no more hypocrisy on that front, please. No matter which party they are affiliated with, most of the time, they try to hide it and only leave when they die or are forced out.

First of all, I don't understand why you are talking about "getting even"; I guess the whole Bush hatred thing is getting even for how Clinton was treated for Lewinski and the blue dress.
It is pretty clear that the Mark Foley debacle made it clear that Republicans clean house when we find out about something like his behavior. And we are mostly talking about some risque' emails to kids of about 17 with no proof it went beyond that. Nonetheless he was summarily dispatched when the news came out.
Gary Studds was a whole different thing altogether; He actually slept with a male intern. How was he treated by his Democrat peers? 3 standing ovations. I guess there is a different standard with you guys, huh?
We conservatives ask for little more than consistency of outrage, nothing more. As it stands you all seem pretty hypocritical.

This is not a one up game. I could care less about Studds or Foley. How about we talk about US debt?
