I was in my car driving, and it has been cloudy, cold, and snowy. Well, I just looked up at the clouds and I saw this little round light and it was bright, and like it was coming out of the bottom of the cloud, and as I was looking at it I thought, "was is that"? then it disappeared. Did anyone else see this? What do you think it was?

Comet Mcnaught would not be described as 'bright' and certainly could not be seen in broad daylight (although the author does not make it clear what time of day this occurred).

Most likely it is an artifact of the sun reflecting or refracting through ice crystals or water droplets at the edge of the cloud, which would explain why it was a short-lived event. This is just a guess, however.

Could well be the comet McNaught. It is quite bright at the moment and can be seen with the naked eye in daylight and even through some clouds. It does seem to come and go as you described in heavy cloud conditions. More information can be found at http://spaceweather.com. Sorry, still don't know how to make that a click-able link, but dump it in your search box and enjoy.
