Last time I saw my Dad, about two months ago. I had just finished remodeling my sisters kitchen for her and he came down to "check it out". He was a carpenter when he was younger and I followed in his footsteps. I'm 47, my Dad is 80.

Every single time I see my dad. He raves about how proud of me and my husband he is.
My mother, I don't think ever has said she is proud of me. But that is ok, she is a psyco anyway.

My Dad did the day before he passed on.....4years ago..and My Mom did, almost 3 years this july 4th..when i stopped drinking.
