Seventeen is my absolute favorite. Elle and Teen People have too many pictures and absolutely no articles or helpful hints. As for Jane, I wouldn't know. Haven't read it. Comso is alright, but as I said Seventeen is the best.

Bismillahi Rahmani Rahim - In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful Salaam Alaikum wa Rahmatullah I see all the popular magazines in the grocery store checkstands every time I go shopping. It is unavoidable. The busty babes of Cosmo and the women on all the other magazines take such great pride in exposing their bodies. I don't read those magazines either, and I would not allow them in my home. I even try to go through the "tabloid-free" checkstand if there is one at the store I'm visiting. These magazines are the worst examples of objectification of women, something the women who DO read these types of rags will protest. They think these women have the "freedom" to revel in nakedness and casual sex, but this is just another insidious kind of bondage to men. Women who believe in God and who recognize that they are beloved servants of God would never stoop to doing such magazines or reading them. And Allah knows best. Fi Aman Allah, Nancy Umm Abdel Hamid

I like Marie Claire. You find the latest from a hot designer next to something from Target. Ads from Walgreens and Vera Wang. They cover your body from head to toe, and all points inside and out. Add in a few interesting articles and you have a well rounded magazine.

Cosmo can kiss my ****. I make it. I used to stack it off. 100,000 books a day. Picking up 25 tons of Cosmo a day can kinda turn you off. (I'm serious. 25 tons, 15 lbs at a time.)

Now I just have to make sure it gets shipped out, but I still would prefer to read Redbook or something.

They are all just advertisments anyway. Good Housekeeping is decent (we make it too, but I don't hate it as much.) Quick and Simple is good too.
