We turned him over and they hung him. Sure, it could have been handled a little more civilized, but it wasn't. We're sorry that some were offended by the actions of the people that handled the execution but we're relieved that it is over.

I think he got off easy. Think about it. All of the people he mercilessly killed and showed zero sign of remorse. The way they execute people over there is acceptable to them. His people hacked innocent peoples heads off with a knife like a roast beef. So Saddam got off easy in my opinion.

Well, I have to admit that a big part of me thought he should have been shredded, feet first, like he did to people. But that's just too brutal and I certainly couldn't condone it.

I think that, considering what we've seen Iraqi Muslims do to each other, hanging was a pretty humane way to go. They could have beheaded him....shot him.....lots of ways to kill a man, aren't there?

Very good question!!

No I think he deserved to be put in a tiny cell for the rest of his miserable life. But for the US to hand him over after being in US custody to be treated with such barbarism does not make any wrongs right. It dies set precedent for any other country who blames a leader of another for any internal misgivings to invade and then hang that leader. So yes it was wrong...the justic was barbaric compared to our own system here. But then BUSH executed more texans than any other governor ever...during his reign over Texas. He must believe that this is a good thing to do. Wonder what his royal god thinks about it aLL. Not sure Jesus would have been okay with it. But then he can just get himself born again and again and again....

Yes. In fact, I think hangings and firing squads (and especially the chair) should be brought back to all the states and used more widely. That may sound cruel, but honestly, those who brutally kill and murder people, and then are given the choice of nice little ways to die, makes me sick to think of the hypocrisy. They need to fear their death, and for good cause. It needs to hurt, just like they hurt their vitcims and their familys too

It's not my place to comment. I never had to live under Saddam. Hell, I don't even speak the same language.

I don't know. I have a bad taste in my mouth. Not just because he was hanged but because there is so much we don't know though I am pretty sure that if hanging him was right there are a bunch of our guys that ought to have been hung along side him.

I dont see why I would need to agree with that dude. Why would you ask this kind of question? Idiots like yourself are of the type that would tape that **** and broadcast it on the internet and idiots like you would watch it and act like its a problem for you. Why dont you act like an adult, for example I dont watch many things that I find offensive.

The only thing that bothers me about it is the praise for Muqtada al-Sadr by the guards, even if it was just to p*** him off.
