The parent gets the covered parking space, because they paid for it. If the parent gets home first, then the first one home gets the space. If the parent has the new car, then the new car gets the space.

The parent should always be first regardless if the child has the new car (hopefully not). The adult that does most of the coming and going after that.

I always got the garage, I never even gave my boyfriend the choice!! I was always the one who did the shopping and had the running around to do with the baby so I just took it!
I think the ladies should always get it, our shoes are nicer if it rains or snows we dont want to ruin them!!
