Please help me with this problem!!!

A 14700 Newton car is traveling at 25m/s. The brakes are suddenly applied and the car slides to a stop. The average braking force between the tires and the road is 7100 Newtons. How far will the car slide once the brakes are applied?

I am assuming that the reason that the car is measured in newtons instead of kilograms is to complicate the problem.
since g=9.8 Meter/Second/Second
the mass of the car is 14700/9.8=1500 Kilogram
F=mA
A=F/M
The deceleration of the car is 7100/1500=4.73...
V=AT
The time to stop the car is 25/4.73=5.28
D=1/2ATT
D=4.73*5.28*5.28/2=66.02

Force = mass x acceleration
weight = mass x gravity
Force = (weight / gravity) x acceleration
7100 = (14700 / 9.8 ) x acceleration
7100 x 9.8 / 14700 = 4.733 = acceleration [ in m/s^2]
So, the car slows down at the rate of 4.733 m/s^2

Now use velocity = acceleration x time
25 = 4.733 x time
25 / 4.733 = 5.282 = time [ in seconds]

And by the way, the distance to stop is 66 meters.
