I just heard on the news that Austin, Texas is experiencing the worst and coldest storm in RECORDED history. We here in Dallas had snow in November which is unheard of.
This all proves that Global Warming is just a farce.

candl91402 - Hmm! I didn't know an increase in ocean levels cause a reversal of climate temperatures between the north and the south. That's a first.

It's so funny to see people try and defend Global Warming by saying it's 70+ degrees in New Jersey or Boston while it's record freezing temperatures in Texas, California and Colorado. So much for it being a GLOBAL issue. You enviromental freaks are making yourself look more stupid by the minute.

Yeah, of course. This is the second coming of the new ice age. The first was back in the late '70s. (Nyuk!)

a individual could must be surprisingly gullible to have self belief that a one degree F of warming that happened over the final one hundred+ years could all quickly ban chilly climate, inclusive of archives (that have not been tracked for long, so they are broken oftentimes). for sure worldwide warming has not something to do with familiar on an wide-unfold basis or seasonal climate changes. climate isn't climate. climate isn't climate. worldwide warming would not magically ban iciness, or familiar short term climate fluctuations. Do you already know that snow falls whilst it fairly is under 32 ranges outdoors? Your climate can heat yet as lonng because it would not heat above 32 ranges, it fairly is nonetheless snowing. Take a technology classification or 2.

No. Take a look at the weather this month in Moscow. They're having record high temperatures and record low snow fall amounts in what is normally the coldest capital in Europe. In addition New York a couple of weeks ago hit 70 degrees.

I think it is warming, as it has over history, and chilled between ice ages and proof recently that the Antarctic was once subtropical. Other causes have not yet been proved, by me, but I'm open to evidence if anyone has it.
Today, though, water mains broke throughout Southern California, because it was so cold.

Why do you even ask the question if you think it's a farce. In fact, it is not a farce. What you fail to understand is that global warming is simply a symptom of the much larger problem of CLIMATE CHANGE! It's happening, albeit slowly in terms of a human lifespan. In terms of geologic time, it's moving along like a supersonic jet. If you're over 40 you don't have much to be concerned about except your kids and grand-kids.The younger you are the louder you should scream for immediate and drastic reduction in the amount of fossil carbon we're injecting into the atmosphere. It might still be possible to curb some of the more terrible effects that will be faced by future generations.

Climate is the average of years of weather. So not neccesarily, but you would have to believe that global warming is a valid theory. I believe, as well as many scientist, that global warming is the product of bad science from those who want to "protect the earth". Earth's climate has been through many changes over the millions of years it has existed. If we could have been around at the begining of the last ice age we would have been saying that global cooling was going to kill us all and we need to do something about it. The earth does what it wants and we can't do anything about it.

It depends on who you ask. I've had people tell me that major blizzards are proof of global warming. If you can find any logic in that claim, let me know. I'm still looking.

Global warming is causing the polar caps to melt, which causes the ocean levels to rise, which causes the normal weather patterns to shift worldwide. That is why it is 60 degrees in Vermont and 30 degrees in Texas, rather than vice-versa as it has been for centuries. Watch the movie "An Inconvenient Truth" to learn all about it. Or, watch "The Day After Tomorrow" for a view of how it might be in 100 years.
