Ok I'm relly curious about what its like to live at the brox. Im from Australia and the things we here about it is all violent and not such a safe place to be. Educate me on this please.
Say If I wanted to visit the Us and decided I want to come down there and see what its like would I get .
1 robbed.
2. assulted.
3. or would I be left alone. I'm just interested in knowing what life is like there. I live in a very boring street the only times the cops come down is if someone is playing loud music, which is not taht often. thanx to all who took the time to answer.

There are good parts of the Bronx as well as bad. Just like any other place.
Depending on where you are you might get robbed or assaulted.
Why did you want to know about the Bronx? Manhattan is much more exciting.

The Bronx is where real New Yorkers live. Some parts of the Bronx you should stay away from, very dangerous with outburst of violence. Other parts are good. For example Arthur Avenue is nice. Great places to eat on that street. Riverdale is a nice section of the Bronx. Interesting places to visit include Yankee Stadium, Bronx Zoo, and the Bronx Botanical Garden. Pelham and Mosula Parkways are nice neighborhoods. Just don't walk around in certain Bronx areas at night unless you are going to see a Yankee baseball game, lots and lots of police officers there so everyone is safe. Once again, real New Yorkers live in the Bronx.
