today i had played my nintendo ds before i had went to work, and i had put it in my pocket while it was still on. now thats never been a problem before, but after i got off of work, and i work part-time, my ds was off...now i was thinkin " maybe the battery was dead?" but when i put it on my charger it wouldnt charge, and then i found what i think may of been the cause of all of it..i had bought me a drink and i had put the change i had gotten into the same pocket my ds was in, i had found a quarter in the underside, inside the compartment where the gameboy advanced games go. I am so mad about this, cuz ive had my ds for like 10months, so im eligible for the warranty, BUT i threw away my receipt a few months ago, cuz i didnt think i would need it. lol. what do i do? and has this happened to anybody before, with there ds? I think nintendo shouldve designed the ds with a compartment cover so you wouldnt have to worry about stuff gettting stuck inside its openings.

well i dont know whats wrong with your ds but i can tell you that the ds does come with a slot to close off the gba slot. but i have a ds lite i dont know about the older one(if thats what you have)

Then why did you buy that piece of crap, you should have bought the psp inestead so you would have no problems.
