Outstanding college running back at Auburn all american I believe. Also played baseball at Auburn. Drafted by the Tampa Bay Bucs but went to the KC Royals to play baseball instead. WHo could blame him with how bad the Bucs were. The next year re-entered the draft and was drafted by the LA Raiders. Injured hip in 91 eventually gave up football then baseball due to nagging hip problems. Eventually the hip had to be replaced. Was said to have run a 4.12 forty at the combine the fastest recorded time.

I personally saw him held to 25 yards in a half of football then comeout in the second half finish with 275 against Georgia Tech

I won't give the biography as someone already beat me to it. I always think of him as a "what if" player. I just always wonder how his career would have been without injuries. He was one of my favorite players of the time. I still have the poster of him in shoulder pads holding the bat across the back of his shoulders. He was fun to watch.

Terrel Davis is another one like him that I often wonder about. Injuries are part of the game, but there is always that " what if they hadn't gotten hurt".
