www.dictionary.com is a classic that I always use. Also, if you have microsoft word you can type in the word, highlight it and choose 'Look up' if you want to use the dictionary. Or choose 'synonyms' to access the thesaurus. that's much faster if you are trying to write an essay or something.

www.dictionary.com is the number one site I use for all my definition and thesarus needs. It provides information of definitions from several sources so you always get to choose the more accurate one. I highly reccomend it.
