that people say they "slept like a baby" when babies wake up like every two hours?

because the baby is really asleep the whole time but eviltrolls come in and make baby noises that sound like the baby's awake. and then they become invisible and open the baby's eyes so it looks like it's awake when it's really asleep.

I've always wondered the same thing.... Pretty contradictory...

I think it's cuz when you have a baby, they can sleep through just about anything sometimes, like vaccuuming or screaming siblings.

Yeah, and why do people say they slept like a log when logs are always standing up unless they're dead?

in other words, they slept peacefully. If you watch a baby sleep...they are peaceful when they sleep

Cause they sleep and drink warm milk and go back to sleep
I'm more like a cat...sleep a lot and like a cat, I purr on occassion.
