i have no clue what to do when they onich me what can i do ?!?!?

Go to the sink and hold it under running water until it releases (warm/hot in temperature).
Try to avoid sticking your fingers around the claws and you probably won't have a problem.

Well, that is just unacceptable behavior for a hermit crab and I say nip it in the bud now, otherwise he's just going to turn into a rebel, calling you names, staying out all night, smoking, etc. Sit him down and have a chat with him about anger management. Be authorative in your tone, yet gentle. You want him to know he did wrong but don't hurt his self esteem. Hermit crabs feelings are very fragile. Then sit him in a corner and let him think about what he did!! Maybe he's lashing out because you don't spend enough quality time with him. *Sigh* it's hard to be a parent....even the parent of an angry hermit crab.

If he pinches and does not let go, then boil some water and stick your hand in their with the crab till he lets go. After you return from the hospital for treating your hand for 3d degree burns, you will have supper ready to eat.

They will usually let go if you sit them on a hard surface, if they feel like they will not drop, they will usually let go. If you have a little one it wont hurt at all, just try to keep your hand flat so it doesnt have any excess skin to pinch.

He'll let go.
He will go into his shell 999 times out of 1000 rather than pinch you. He isn't very strong, anyway.

They dont pinch that hard. If you cant pull it away, start working out... a lot. Because if you cant pull it away, you are probably also incapable of lifting a paper clip.

Lol,they pinch regularly but it doesn't hurt that much.Btw both of them died cause I fed it watermelon.(but dont do that)

hold your hand under hot water, but above all just don't make them mad and they usually don't pinch or anything as long as you treat them respectfully
