He's great, but he just wins, wins, and wins. When you know he is entered in a tournament, you know he will win it. There is no wonderment left.. its just Federer, Ferer..Fer...ugh!

I only disliked him at first because of the threat he posed to Andre Agassi, but now that Agassi finally retired I'm hoping that Nadal can destroy him in a few more Grand Slam finals, which would create a new sort of tennis rivalry between the two that we can follow for the next decade. I'd be satisfied if it garnered the same sort of appeal as the Sampras/Agassi rivalry that was so sweet in the 90's. Nothing beats two artists displaying their exemplary tennis skills while battling it out.

And why shouldn't he? That is what he is there to do - WIN. Regardless whether people like him or not, he is NOT obliged to win or lose for our enjoyment. His job is to win and earn his income. He is NOT obliged to let others win and the other players' are there to beat him and they do not expect any less from him. It would be an insult to the other players if Federer drop a match.

Anyway - he has lost a match here in Australia last week. So he IS human. Also, there WILL be a time when he will start to lose.

If not him, you will be asking this question about another player.

Why should we be tired of him? He is an amazing player, and I think one of the best #1's in a while. He's always very gracious whether he wins or loses, and he's got a great game. He's not a show off like Nadal, he doesn't mouth off much like Hewitt. I think he's doing a great thing for the game, bringing it back into popularity after being in a slump for a little bit, where you first had players like MacEnroe, and a young Aggassi who gave it a bit of a bad name, although they kinda smartened up. I just hope he can keep it up.

i have to agree with the_mouse, Federer is there to win and he does it spectacularly, every match he will pull something out that no one else can do and just wow everyone. He makes tennis that much more exciting with the shots that he can play.
Also, he's head to head record with Rafael Nadal is not all that impressive, won 3 lost 6, so we are not always assured that he will win, but that shouldn't make any difference because they are all out there trying to win.

No! Federer is awesome. If he weren't such a great guy then I could see how people get annoyed of him, but he is not arrogant and every shot he hits is a work of art. Occasionally he does lose and other players are often getting much closer to beating him. He does not win every tournament he enters. If your sick of Federer i suggest you should start following golf instead.

I am. I seriously hate that guy. He makes my skin crawl. I've only been watching Tennis for a year, and I'm tired of him. All the tournaments I've watched, he's won them all. Hopefully Andy (Im pulling for him the most), Marat or Nadal win the Australia Open

I love watching him, he's a human highlight reel.

Comment: Isn't it kinda ridiculous? First there's too much parity and a star is needed, now we have a once-in-a-long-long-long time star playing, and now he's boring?! He will end up being either Greatest of All Time or pretty darn close to it when his career is over.

He's too good, I'm not tired watching him until he wins the French Open.
