"My Bologna" was his first hit. It debuted on the Dr. Dimento show and was recorded in a men's room. It was a parody of "My Sharona" by The Knack.

His first Billboard Hot 100 Hit was 'Ricky,' a parody of Toni Basil's 'Micky.' His first Billboard Top 40 hit was 'Eat It,' a parody of Michael Jackson's 'Beat It.'

His first single that charted at all was "Another One Rides The Bus," a parody of Queen's "Another Bites The Dust."

In the Los Angeles market, where I grew up-- his first hit was "Another One Rides the Bus".
But out of those two choices you gave, I think it was "Jeopardy".

The first song released is "My Bologna", which didn't make it to top 100.

The first to be in top 100 is "Ricky"

The one that make it top 40 around the world is "Eat It" (US, UK, Australia)

Eat It was pretty big, and it was a really early song, but I don't know if it was his first hit.
