I tell myself all the time. But I never tell anyone who asks me for some kind of guidance to deal with their problems. Doesn't really help that much.

I did to myself today. I threw my back out yesterday. My chiropractor suggested I get a massage. I really, really hate to be touched or have my skin caressed. I know many people love massages but I hated the whole ordeal. I simply dealt with it until it was over because I wanted my back to feel better.
Dealing with it payed off. I can stand erect now.

Yes. My deceased sister. She died of cancer, but I really feel she wanted to die. I told her to "snap out of it" after being in a funk for a long time. She said "I can't because I still hear grandma, telling me what a piece of sh t I am" My grandmother was verbal and physical regarding abusing us as kids, but I left home early and my sister stayed. People do not get over words, they are very powerful.

PS My grandmother was dead four years at that time.
