I am petite and thin. The worst mistake is to cover you self up like Leslie said ( she's just jealous) Don't wear long skits or jackets. They just swallow you up. You want to elongate you legs so wear skinny jeans and shoes with heals. The layered look is also good for petites because it also elongates. Don't wear turtle necks or bulky sweaters. You can wear almost any look as long as you feel confidant in it.

Basically, you have to be more specific. How skinny are you?? If your waistline is less than 25 inches you might consider clothes that will not empasize your built. Wear bubble skirts, blosson type of blouses, I dont really suggest the skinny jeans if your are that skinny. Basically, try straight cut type of jeans.

If you think of it this way, skinny models are already banned in fashion houses in Milan. So skinny will definitely be passee in a cople of season already. If you are petite, dont use pants that cuts your leg, leg mid length pants, ankle length pants because it will only make you look shorter. Avoid outfits that has cuts on the waist part and hip area to make an illusion of longer body figure. V neckline also helps.

You can definatly look cute no matter what size you are. Depending on your style, skinny jeans, spacious tunics, flowy dresses. If you are skinny, you can pull off more flowy clothes because people know you aren't trying to hide your flab and they will drape nicely on your frame.

SERIOUSLY, AS A SKINNY PETITE WOMAN MYSELF ANY ADVICE I COULD GIVE YOU WOULD DEPEND ON YOUR AGE; EXCEPT TO SAY: KEEP IT CLASSY, SIMPLE AND DON'T FALL INTO ANY OF THE TRASHY, BRITNEY SPEARS, SHOWING OFF YOUR BELLY BUTTON FADS OUT THERE--

LIKE I ALWAYS SAY: JUST BECAUSE THEY MAKE IT IN YOUR SIZE; DOESN'T MEAN YA GOTTA WEAR IT.

Tunics or babydoll tops are really cute; you could even wear a simple, casual, flowy dress over your skinny jeans for a funky look.
Skinny jeans are really hot right now; they look especially good on women of your frame.
Flats (if ballet flats) will make your legs look shorter though. Go for some cute heels or at least pointed toe flats.
Accessorize with a big clunky belt at your waist! :)

long skirts and pants, to cover up what you dont have, legs/thighs. thats sexy.
its like a woman wearing low cut shirts with no cleavage, not sexy. if you dont have it, you cant show it.
