to being PC? In fact, INVITES those to appear on the show who convieniently decline to participate in tackling the issue at hand. Yes , hes loud and opinionated, but does post his own Criticism by viewers.Most liberal news shows get cancelled and low ratings. It is not the weather report it IS his show, and he can agree or disagree . It wouldn't still be on if it wasn't so popular internationally. Yes, he gets facts wrong, then posts/takes responsibility for it. What's the problem??

I like him because he says what is on his mind and tries to be fair to all sides. I don't find that anywhere else...it is always slanted to one side or another. I could not stand him when I first saw him, but he has really grown on me.

There aren't that many far right conservative news show in prime time. So, since there aren't many all the conservatives will tune into O'Reilly show. It's satisfying for those ~50% or so of country who think media is mostly too liberal to watch that show. O'Reilly found a niche in TV media. Rating is not coming from who's right and who's wrong... or whatever.

O'Reilly uses lies and deceit all the time. He uses an incredible amount of spin as well. He set his show up with a very good appearance of fair, balanced reporting. But in actuality, his entire show is spin. He does bring a lot of varying guests on, but his interviews are useless compared to a good journalism interview. He doesn't discuss the issues in a fair manner, and sets them us to be either a shouting match, or a spin session.

His show is on top for a reason. I suspect it is because there are more like you and I than some of the "other posts".
He DOES try to present both sides whenever possible. But you can't make people come on if they refuse. I admire the fact the is a big enough person to read some of his mail on air. Even the ones that don't flatter him. I personally watch most every night, I get information I don't get elsewhere. To each his own...but I will watch.

he gets MOST of his 'facts' wrong...and refuses to admit it...and after seeing the dismissive and rude treatment he deals out to anyone who doesn't toe the line, i'm not surprised that more folks don't want to come on his show...and he's a self appointed champion of virtue who is, himself, a pervert

I think he's a blustering bully who talks over people, and the reason liberals decline to appear is the same reason deer decline to go to NRA conventions. I also hate his latest thing about the "S-P"s, which I've been hearing about from relatives who just love him.

I like him because he says what he thinks and you can decide for yourself whether you agree or not. I don't always agree with him but he gives me a chance to hear what other people have to say.
