That's what privacy blinds are made for! Also, make a point to watch and see when they are near the telescope, stand directly in view with clothes on (thank you) and waive. At this point, they will be embarass and move the telescope in another direction.

I wouldn't worry about it. If it's a reflector or large telescope, it'd be unsuitable for spying on you because in reflectors the image will be upside down and in large telescopes you'd be too close for a decent view.
Many people with ornamental telescopes point them out the window and never actually use them. People who do some light star gazing from inside do this too. If this was the case they could very well have been looking at something in the sky over your house.
Binoculars are far better for spying on people. Anyway if it bothers you so much, make use of your curtains.

lol You can meet them and bring it up...or simply call the police. I think you shouldn't waiste the police's time and deal with it yourself.
They are either pervs or nosey....but obviously not smart. Catch them while they are going out or walk over some day with a bogus reason. Bring up the fact that you like the watching the stars at night with your telescope.....that might be sly enough to get the message across.

perhaps they just put it there for the time being and it just looks like it is pointed at your house, but if that is not the case then get a bigger telescope and put it in your window pointing at their house where they can see it

Annoyed that it's probably aimed at my kitchen window instead of at my bedroom. I'm not doing all those naked poses for my own entertainment. 3pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with a matinee on Saturday.

wow make sure it is really pointed at your window.
If it is, then tape a sign on the window that says:
If you are my new neighbor and you are reading this sign then..
F,Uc>>> You lousey, sick, peeping-tom low-life neighbor. Don't worry about font size. They are using a telescope...
Good luck with you new neighbor

set up a video camera on a tripod pointing toward their house. It may scare them off. If not close the blinds!

My suggestion would be to close the blinds, because that's just wrong.
