Well; let's see.
I don't know the sports show you speak of and
I haven't heard anything about a failed test.
I don't know if he got his degree or not; but he DID ATTEND COLLEGE.
While there, he played QB; supposedly a skill position that requires a certain amount of intelligence.
He was #3 pick in the draft.
Was his academic smarts an issue then?
He made the team and will be #1 QB;
again, a position that supposedly requires a lot of smarts to play.
He's getting paid millions while we sit at our keyboards and ask and answer questions like:
is vince young not smart academically?
and ponder:
i ask this because i was listening to a sport radio station and one guy on there kept talking about some kind of test he failed
I guess the most important test at this point is whether he can be the QB of Tennessee's future to lead them to a Super Bowl victory.
If he's not smart academically; what are you gonna do about it?

I heard Vince Young failed the NFL Combine Written Test. This is a simple sort of aptitude test that has some pretty basic questions on it. Almost like an IQ test. Rumor has it, he did the worst out of anyone in a long time. I know his academic record at the University of Texas is private, so we'll never know what kind of student he was there, but from what I read, he is no genius, he just has the ability to elude pressure in the pocket and is a solid running quarterback.

He supposedly failed that wonderlic test or whatever it's called but I don't believe he failed it as bad as they said he did. Even if he isn't smart academically, he is still an awesome football player.

He was in my College Algebra class and he cheated off of me and he gave me free Rose Bowl tickets....no just kiddin' he scored low on the Wonderlic test but so did Dan Marino. He is smart since he knows what he is doing on the football field....

really i mean hey the dude makes more than a doctor does in a year. who cares?? but it was just one test that he failed....it wasn't like his whole education depended upon that one test. i guess he was an ok student or else he wouldn't have been the starting QB for UT

I dont think it is that important Football is not rocket science
all he needs is a good calculator to count all his money.
I think he is going to end being the highest paid NFL player
some day.
