People do not have friends and family who really tell them the truth. THAT THEY CAN NOT SING ! Then they want to get mad at the judges for talent they don't have. COME ON PEOPLE! Simon only says what your family should have said. Some people know they can not sing others just want to be on tv. I still love Simon.

It would be a boring show if they were all perfect. Just sit back and enjoy watching them make a fool of themselves.
Now you know you remember the Chinese guy that sang "She bang! She bang!" more than the winner of the show. That's why it's such a cool show.

I think some people just want to be on TV and some honestly believe that they can sing. I have also wondered why their friends and family didn't tell them beforehand that they may not want to go on national television to sing because they're not up to the caliber that the judges will be looking for.

People tend to believe what they want...sometimes they don;t want to realize that they are just average. I agree almost 99% of the time with Simon because he tells the truth.

The problem is, is that a lot of people can't sing! Like you said. But their family says their great, either to not hurt their feelings, or they just don't know what good singing is! I know what you mean.

Maybe to some people, it seems kinder to play "good cop" and let Simon be "bad cop."
Or maybe the group home decided to give their younger residents an outing!
