I've heard that theory floated a lot, but I think the plan would have as many negatives as positives. True, Hillary has a good base of support and I think she's qualified. The downside is that a lot of people have a knee-jerk hatred of her. I'm not at all sure Edwards would be chosen as VP either. Of course, since the nomination is still up for grabs, this is all academic.
