Practice will make you more confident.

Alcohol and drugs will help you get through it.

Ok before you get to class go outside or somewhere where you are alone and make some weird noises. It will loosen your throught. Then when you get infront of the class, take a deap breathe. Don't look at anyone in the eyes. That will make you more afraid. At your house you can stand infront of the mirrow and practice your presentation, get your parents to sit down and be your audiance and practice infront of them. Also when you get up infront of the class you can take 10 deap breathes which will calm you down and then say your speech. Whatever you do this is one thing that doesn't work for many people when they are nervous is to imagine people in their underwear. The reason why this doesn't work is because when you are nervous it is very hard to imagine. This is the best advice I can give you. Try the things i just said and it should help you if not completly get over stage fright it will help you get over it mostly.

go out and smile if you start to mess up stop breath-take a step back-laugh a bit and try again, dont worry its not that bad and the worse thing is people will laugh but you know what your up there to get a grade to help yourself in the future, and who cares what they do. and the teacher will dock points for laughing.

look over there heads or look at a friend, image its your family or your best friend and your just having a conversation, most people say practice your speech it helps kinda because you drill what your saying but practicing does no good because its just not the same enviroment. and just remember you'll do fine its what a few minutes in the spot light, think of those celebs there in it all the time, and you cant tell me that none of them dont have stage fright at least once in there lives,

While you're standing in front of the class getting ready to give your speech, take a moments to focus on the audience. While you focus on them picture them all naked sitting there. My speech prof. in college said doing this would help you calm down and maybe laugh too much.

You need to practice your speech in front of a mirror and then in front of family or friends. Also, when you finally get up in front of the class try to pick a point on the wall right above the audiences head and look at that point throughout your speech.

You know what always helped me get through it?....Let me ask you this, when other classmates are giving their speeches what are you doing? You're not sitting there thinking "Oh my God, they look so stupid!" Right? You're sitting thinking "Oh my God, I hope I'm not next!" Well, guess what! So is everyone else! Here's the best thing to do...Volunteer to go first or close to first, then you get it over with and everyone is thinking about how they are going to do and not even really paying attention to you. Sure they will be looking at you, but in their heads they're wondering when there name will be called! Just do it! I have faith in you :p

Practice your speech over and over again until you know it inside out. Be sure that YOU think that what you have to say is interesting and worth talkng about,... if it's not, then rewrite it to be what you really want to say. Make it your own.... bring your own insights into it... because if YOU enjoy your speech there is less chance of being nervous about giving it. If your speech is interesting and engaging, you will have a captive audience.

Over study and practice. Then you will be on automatic and may even decide that you are enjoying yourself. At this point, you can be yourself.

Do something even more embarrassing. Go to a karaoke place and sing your heart out.
