98 Malibu where is the fuse for the cig. lighter and accessory outlet located at? I checked the side panel fuse area but saw nothing that listed these 2 fuses. Can someone give me some help. Thanks.

I did look in the manual and the fuse box diagrams..I saw nothing listed for the cig. lighter or accessory outlet. If its there it must go by a different name.

The fuse is in the underhood fuse block.
It is labeled aux pwr/cigar 20A

Can't say for sure but a lot of the cigarette lighters have a small fuse right on the back of the outlet. and some have an inline fuse in the wire leading to the outlet.

i own a repair shop,and if you have the owners manual,for this car,,you can look in it,,it tells where it is,,and what size it is also,,i always use the manual when doing this if possible,,good luck,i hope this help,s.
