I've tired Proactive, almost every clearasil, and clean and clear acne products on the line. I am so sick of this. Nothing works. Can u please tell me some products that have worked for u?? and not just that, but also the cleansers and OIL-FREE for oily skin moisturizers you've used....i really really need help. i have mild acne, acne scars, really oily skin and SELF-IMAGE problems....i am always hiding my face and whatnot....please help!

I've had to deal with the SAME thing, and trust me, don't hide yourself from people. Jerks commented about a zit on my chin, and that's all I had. a week later, the punk that made fun of me had zits all over his forehead, so what goes around comes around. However, I want to help you out because I've been there. Covering up acne scars can be delt with CLINIQUE- advanced concealer coverup. It's a COMPLETLY oil free, soft smooth creamy makeup that can cover up ANYTHING. There's three colors it comes in to fit your skin tone. Light, Medium, and Dark are the three. Because Clinique has many different make up products, ask for the advanced MATTE concealers ( the Light, medium, and dark come in a small tube that should last a long time because it can be spread vastly across your face with a very small drop. It's also allergy tested. The tube that it's in says use sparingly, dot on with finger, don;t squeeze it on, as it will vastly come out. For present and future acne, I got a prescription through my doctor called evoclin. it's a foam based acne killer. I put one on a small-med. zit one night, next morning 90% gone, NOT KIDDING. Don't use Proactive or other over the counter medications because it made things worse. Clinique also has a spot treatment remedy that can be used directly on the zit and it heals it up like magic. I combine both the evoclin and spot treatment and it REALLY works. I do hope that things look up for you. I've delt with minor acne problems, but believe me, these acne problems you're having can stop with these things.
1) Clinique advanced concealer--OIL FREE cover up acne scars
2) evoclin--perscription by doctor, kills acne automatically.
3) Clinique spot treatment--another, oil free acne solution.

I hope things look better for you. ^ ^

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.

The secret is never to touch the spots

I use Clinique and it works great for me. It has three steps cleanser, Clarifying lotion, and moisturizing gel which is oil free. I had one of the workers at the Clinique stand do my makeup and she showed me which of the three step systems would be good for my skin. Try it out. Good Luck!
