As many as you want. Some people can finish it in as few as 3 years, some take as many as 10.

Typically, it takes 4 years to get your bachelor's degree. After that, you might apply for a Masters and/or enter a PHD program.

Bachelors- 4 years
Masters- varies, but generally 2 years
JD- 3 years
MD- 4 years
PhD- varies
