I go to a tech school, the best one in the state. The kids had to be smart and had to get accepted, but these kids are the most ignorant bunch i've ever seen!

`No, I shouldn't,' said Alice, surprised into contradicting her at last: `a hill can't be a valley, you know. That would be nonsense -- '

The Red Queen shook her head, `You may call it "nonsense" if you like,' she said, ` but I've heard nonsense, compared with which that would be as sensible as a dictionary!'

Hospitals are for sick people; schools are for ignorant people.

He who knows not and knows not that he knows not is a fool; avoid him.
He who knows not and knows that he knows not is a student; teach him.
He who knows and knows not that he knows is asleep; wake him.
He who knows and knows that he knows is a wise man; follow him.

May I suggest that you may be intolerant and impatient with those who don't "get it" as quickly as you are able to catch on. A good dose of humility would be just the ticket when you realize that there are others (whom you have not met) who are ten times as well-read, ten times as quick to "see" the answer and can extrapolate ten times farther down the path than you can. They are already at the finish line while you are becoming aware that you are involved in the race. They are also ten times as gracious to you as they wait for you to catch up and they will never think of mentioning your inferior position, which would be rude.

No matter how bright you are, realize that one day you may work with one of them and call them "Boss".

Oh god i feel your pain! My school is absolutely brimming with some of the dumbest people i have ever seen in my entire life! It hurts me to go to school every day and see all these kids in my classes who can't even read or write in 11th grade.

Well, you just said they're are a lot of stupid people in a place to gain knowledge. That just goes to show they NEED to be there, but yes it is ironic.

Par for the course. Don't sweat the small stuff and enjoy school while you can I wish I was in your position. Please also go to college even if its a community college. Good Luck !

Welcome to the real world.

I suggest you learn to find the humour of your situation. At least you won't go crazy AND people will always wonder why you are smiling. ; )

Edit: It helps if you know that 'smart' and 'intelligent' are not always the same thing.
