I'm so grateful, but disgusted at the same time. They finally found the Amherst bike path rapist. Well, this sick guy has raped several females over the past 20 years. Three of them were raped and murdered. This guy was even married with 2 sons (grown up now) Why are some people so disgusting like that? What are they thinking? I'm so scared that his sons are going to follow in the path of their father. It still gives me the chills. What is going through their head (people like this)??

I guess we will never know, what goes on in these sick peoples mind, I think hiding behind an abusive youth is a poor excuse they all use, as you would never want to "share" the feeling of being abused now would you... So I think there is a serious problem in the psyche we can never comprehend!
One thing I disagree, I feel sorry for the family of such a person, most of the cases they never even had a clue, their relative was leading two lives, and they have to suffer because of that. It's sad to see people getting stamped for life because of that and might be very normal and sweet people, not their choice to have been born in a situation like that... so i would be carefull judging family,
I would like to see the sicko's pay, by making them experience what they have done day after day after day, 'till they die... But that's my opinion

Most serial killers or rapists know what they do is wrong, but can't help themselves. If they were sane they'd seek help and confess. The sons may or may not be rapists, probably the same odds they are as anyone's son, unlike addictions, this trait is normally not passed through generations, not saying it never has. It's an illness, about the only explanation there is.

A question for psychologists or mystics? Mental abberation or demonic possession? Psychotic break from reality, for sure. Yet how can they function with this twisted aspect of self? How can they appear normal and yet have such a strange alter ego? Jekell and Hyde. Like some sort of werewolf savagery that arises once in a full moon. Again, mental abberation or demonic possession?

I don't think I ever want to find out the answer to that. But if I have to hazard a guess, I suppose they've just lost all common sense a human being should have.
