They should fire him. He suckeds in the playoffs, where it matters and he sucked in the game Vs. the Pats. Any coachwould be better(except Art Shell)

Firing him sounds harsh. Fact is, he will never take a team to the Super Bowl. He is horrible in the post-season for his career, he made some bad decisions against the Patriots such as going for it on 4th and 11 on like their 30 instead of having your PRO-BOWL Kicker hit a FG of about 47 yds. The 3 points was the difference in the game by the way. Firing sounds harsh...so I would say "Move in a different direction" Marty will never win a SB let alone take a team there. Too much talent on both sides of the ball for them to be sitting at home after being seeded #1.

In your case, NO. Your team will have a higher chance of beating the Chargers with Mr Marty who dont know how to win playoff games.

He seems to be learning from his mistakes this season, and that has given the Chargers a lot more flexibility as a team.

Give him one more season. If he learns from the Pats loss, they should be championship caliber. If he doesn't, then he is thick-skulled and completely impotent in the playoffs. Either way, We'll see what he can do.

No. You made a good pt. Marty is a very good coach. That's why the Bolts went 14-2.

Marty has one year left on his contract. They should let him redeem himself in light of the 13-3 record.

I agree. I don't think you can hang the loss on him; even if you could, I don't see how it undoes what he's accomplished during his stay in San Diego. Bad break on the fumble, otherwise San Diego would be hosting Indy.

You answered your own question. Anyway, no they shouldn't, not if they make the Playoffs next year.
