I was on Seroquel for 9 months. I have symptoms of tardive dyskinesia, which is nerve damage that presents similarly to Parkinson's (mostly my left leg and arm). They twitch a little bit and when they do, it hurts like hell.

Some of the other side effects I experienced were anterograde amnsesia (I would forget everything that happened after the medication took effect, which was usually 15-20 mins. after taking the pills), extreme lethargy the next day, and a severly diminished libido.

These side effects will not present in every patient, however, the risks are there. I would consult webmd.com and look at the drug information page on Seroquel.
