hi, everyone. i was wondering if there are any zoos in north america (or canada) that have dinosaurs for public viewing. i know there are a couple of places in south america with them, but that's kind of far. my family is planning a vacation this spring and i think it would be so cool to go someplace where i could see a triceratops or velocipede like in the movies. maybe the bronx zoo has some? i checked a couple web sites, but they weren't much help.

None. Zoos only have live animals on display. Dinosaurs died out millions of years ago, so instead of going to the Bronx zoo, head into Manhattan to the Museum of Natural History (Central Park West at 79th St.) to view the skeletons of dinosaurs.

Actually, I would say 99.9% percent of all zoos actually have modern "dinosaurs". Animals like crocodiles and birds (!) are descendants of those monster beasts.
