sci notation...
10^1=10
10^2=100
etc.

10^ -1=1/10^1

so the first one is 9 X (1/10^2)

9 X .01

move the decimal over two spots and you get .09 for number one.

you should be able to get the rest ;-)

Just move the decimal over accordingly:

1. 9.0 x 10^-2?
move the decimal over to the left (exponent is negative) two times
so 9.0 --> .90 --> .090

2. 5.206 --> .5206 --> .05206 --> .005206

3. 0.000371

But there is an easier trick: if the exponent is negative (in your case), put a decimal point, then put one less than that many zeros, and then the numbers

so if it was 3.71 x 10^-4
put a decimal point and then put 4-1 zeros, then the number

so it's 0.000371
