Cheap date ideas for hubby and myself?

Married 10 years, 2 lovely (most of the time LOL) boys ages 5 and 9. So we dont have alot of money, be we are trying to have date night 1 or 2 nights a month....we already do family night 2-3 days a month so if you have cheap ideas please share. Note, we really don't have outta the house babysitting, the only babysitting we have is someone coming to our place.

Take classes: massage classes at your local Y, then practice later on one another. Take an art class or cooking class together or whatever. Learning keeps things fresh!

Date night is what you make it! Be adventureous about it. See if you can get a friend or family member who have patience and kids to take the kids for at least 3-4 hours and you trade with them as well when needed. You can cook dinner, dress in a sexy dress or teddy, rent a nice movie and sit on the couch with cheap wine, which is the best wine and neck and let it go further. If you can't get a sitter, feed them early and let them play themselves into sleepy land, and then act like teenagers and neck in the back of the car in your garage. Remember, its about you and spontaneous fun. Good luck and at least you are trying!

..a nice walk in the park? Perhaps cook a meal together, lite a candle, and go for a stroll.. I really enjoy that. Not everything has to cost money. Or go window shopping at the mall, go out for ice cream, get a movie camp out by the t.v. and watch it.. It's really for the whole family, too. My best place to stroll is somewhere there's a bridge..or go for a drive to beautiful places and have a picnic..

It's usually nice to remember each other's dream and thoughts..or talk about things you can't talk about in front of other family members..just remember not to engage in any conversation that will become an argument.

Talk about anything and everything, stop when you feel you found the right place and watch the sunset. Romance is every where........open your eyes because you've already found it

Well, we like to go eat a little sushi at the place around the corner....as long as you aren't drinking lots of alcohol, it's usually affordable, depending on the restaurant. Also, we like a dance place with a minimum cover charge. We were amazed that there actually existed a place that we could go dancing and playing pool that we didn't feel like old farts. We have two little ones too, and family is our best baby sitter. Good Luck.

My husband and I are in the same situation. We find that we like to just put the kids to bed, turn out the lights, cuddle and watch a movie or listen to music. Sometimes we just take walks together, we hold hands and talk and just enjoy each others company. We also just like to lay on the bed, fully clothed and just talk. In the summer we take a blanket out and lay under the stars. We dont usually spend alot of money but we spend time together, focusing on each other and our relationship.
