A total compliement. There is enough cookie cutter sheeple out there that are all the same like they got unpacked from the local Old Navy.

for me being called weird is a compliment. people have called me that for most of my life so i am used to it and i love being weird. 1) because it's fun and 2) because it shows that i don't care if others think I'm an idiot.

well they are either saying you are different or just..like you know..spacy.. i think i would take it as a compliment because i know i am weird..like crazy weird and overly hyper weird i would take it much more of an insult to be called non original

Well I don't know if I would want to be called weird...but if someone said you are different that would be okay with me...I don't know a lot of people in this world that I would really want to emulate...so much nastiness.

That would definitely be treated as a compliment. To not be weird would make me normal, and normal is boring.

I would usually take it as a compliment.
Sometimes it depends on how 'stodgy' or 'alternative' the particular person is.
The word FREAK has always been a compliment, in my book as well.

Depends who says it. If it's someone whose opinion I care about I'll be insulted.

Anything but 'normal' is good. No one even knows what 'normal' is, so to be 'normal' seems pretty nothing to me. I agree, 'weird' is a lovely compliment, although 'peculiar' would be my preference. ; )
