You got it right on the money. People are always trying to hate on Kobe and find excuses to put him down. Whether he's not scoring enough, or scoring too much, they always have to put him down. As for MVP, I think he should've won it last year, and he definitely should be in the talk this year. He has really tried to become a facilitator and get his teammates involved, and when the game is on the line he'll start scoring. Not many players can do that, and he is the reason why the Lakers have a good record. By the way, there are also a lot of Kobe lovers out there. I just took a pole on which player would you like to have the ball in the final seconds of the game. There were about 45 states that preferred Kobe. So don't worry, there are still a lot of Kobe lovers out there. I happen to be one of them.

Man, the only reason Kobe aren't MVP right now is the Lakers record. If only Lakers record were better than Suns, probably he'll get the MVP awards. But I really think he'll get more votes this year, I'm pretty sure of that.

LOL i hate Kobe Haters..they hate him because he is a cold blooded scorer and shocks the other team when he goes on his streaks....but Kobe's chant for MVP is heard in every other teams court. So there are a lot of Kobe fans out there.

Calm down son and get off his jock. In case you didn't remember L.Odom carried that team (with a little help from WBynum) while Kobe was rehabbing from knee surgery. And last time I checked D.Nowitzki was having an MVP year,as well as Steve Nash still doing it. And lets not talk about Gilbert Arenas who gave your boy a 50 piece.

DUde i noe KOBe is da best...people r just jelous of his skills and talents ..u noe...he could score as many points he would like...he just holds back..sooo people wont call him a ball hog...dude i think kobe is da best basket balll player u could get...mvp award kobe deserved last years award...the only thing wrong with kobe is just tht he got out of an injury and his team suck except for lamar odom...if he was in the net, raptors, suns,or the piston, that team will and by all mean will** get a playoff tittle. i can bet u any money on tht...

No he isn't scoring enough and last year he was scoring too much. I think people just want him to balance the 2 out better like Jordan did while winning. His stat line should be like 31.4ppg 6.1 rebounds, 5.5 assists with a 48%FG. I think he did that and won over 50 everyone would heavily praise him and I think people just get irritated with him because they feek he is capable of it but does stuff like throw games.
