If you don't check your email for over 60 days Hotmail will delete it for you, it will become inactive.

As far as I know you can not actually delete them, you have to stop using the account and after a month or so it becomes unactive, if you still want it you can reactivate it but if you continue to not use it after another period of time it will be deleted. So just stop using it.

I think there a "Help" section on Hotmail.

Just dont log on again. After awhile, it'll delete itself.
