I know he has been out on loan, then given the bench for a while.....He has played incredibly well each time he's been used. When the manager has expressed pleasure at his performances, why does the president show this difference of opion. Especially when the fans love him?

The Barca front office has made it pretty clear over the years that they don't care anything about Javier Saviola. I agree that he has always performed well; I always figured that he deserved to be at least a secondary striker, behind Eto'o.

Maybe there's more to it than we'll ever know. Maybe it's organizational politics. Maybe it's his personality, something personal between him and the prez...or, maybe he's just too short.

The manager doesn't want him. If he did they would renew his contract in a shot.
